My expertise in medical and scientific copy ranges from the highly technical to consumer health content. My most recent and current client is Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute (CHORI). In my capacity as their writer/editor, I have produced the following in both hardcopy and for their website:
- scientist profiles based on interviews with world-class principal investigators
- research profiles on scientific break-throughs such as vaccine development for meningococcal meningitis
- in-depth essays on topics such as nutritional genomics, the role of the ferritin protein in iron transport, and recombinant DNA libraries
